Q:	There are many Gopher servers. Does it matter which one 	I choose to begin my search with?

A: 	Unlike Web servers, Gopher servers are arranged in a hierarchical 	system.  When addressed, they all turn to the main server at the 	University of Minnesota. Therefore, no matter where you start your 	search or where you open Veronica - you'll get similar results.

Q:	Sometimes when I try to connect to a Gopher server, I 	receive a message that states "Too many connections. Try 	again soon". What does this mean?

A:	It usually means that the server is too busy and that you need to try 	again later.

Q:	The Web lets me enter personal information such as my  	E-Mail address and credit card number. Can I do this in 	Gopherspace as well?

A: 	No. In Gopherspace the user cannot enter any personal 	information.

Q:	I find Gopher very useful. How can I get information about 	new Gopher servers and sites?

Q:	I'd like to browse Gopher using software other than 	Netscape. Where can I get such software?

A: 	There are many sites that provide you with Gopher software.
